A Concordance to the Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri.
Ernest Hatch Wilkins, Thomas Goddard Bergin, Dante Society of America.
PREFACE
The purpose of the editors in preparing this Concordance has been
threefold: to enable the user to locate readily any passage he desires, to
provide groupings of references useful for the study of any particular
phase of Dante's thought, and, finally, to provide a conspectus of the
significant words and forms of the poet's vocabulary. If the work is
to serve these purposes it should meet certain requirements; it should be
based on an accepted text, it should be in some degree selective, and it
should be efficient in organization.
